Goldendoodles have something called hybrid vigor, this is attained by breeding a healthy poodle to a healthy golden retriever. If both parents are healthy the likelihood of the puppy developing any genetic or otherwise condition is greatly reduced. This does not guarantee that the dog wont get cancer or get something or have an environmentally caused illness appear but it will lessen the likelihood that any condition will present.
That being said there are many other factors that go into raising healthy dogs, not just feeding properly and getting them ample exercise, we add many nutritional supplements that are very pricey but these supplements ensure we have less puppy fatalities and more strong, healthy babies that thrive, not just survive.
By adding the supplements we use our puppies are on a head start to a long, healthy life with less chances of joint damages or potential for broken bones and heart and lung problems.
There is a science to breeding healthy dogs and we have mastered this over many years, the new "covid" breeders who have recently decided to become "breeders" do not have this knowledge and experience, be sure to select a breeder who has experience and not just a person who wanted to breed because they were laid off from their job from Covid... There are breeders who truly devote their every day and every night, their holidays and weekends and anniversary's and birthdays to the care of their dogs, that is us! That is what we do... Stacy is always near home and tends to these dogs no matter what else if going on in her life... Devotion is what it's called, and we are devoted to our dogs and your puppy!
We offer a 6 year health guarantee, most breeders offer the state minimums, we at Brooklea Beauties offer a lengthy guarantee because we have the utmost faith in our breeding stock. We offer this health guarantee because the health of all of our dogs genetically has been extremely sound.
